  This is one of things that make Italy fun to visit

  Liked: The building is 200 years old, beautiful, and charming. Parking at the gate is included. From the gate to the building is a 2 story climb up stone steps and an additional inside staircase to the floor with the rooms. Bathrooms are not en suite but private. There is no air conditioning. The owner lives in the floor below and is very friendly. She provides a rediculously generous breakfast. The walk into town is an easy 500 meters.

  Disliked: The historical status of the building limits what upgrades can be undertaken by the owner. It would be nice to have bathrooms en suite but this would require considerable remodeling. It is a charming old stone building which is what many visitors come to Italy for. Best to leave it as it is and enjoy it for what it is.

  Liked: The owner of the B&B (Cristina) and her husband very warmly welcomed us from the beginning of our check-in. She explained everything that we could use during our trip to Bergamo; they are a lovely and helpful couple. Definitely, I would go and stay in their B&B next time.

  Liked: The B&B is run by a very friendly family. They gave us so much information about Bergamo and were just great. They also helped us carry our luggage up the many stairs to the house and the room.. The location is very good. We were able to park our car at the gate and walk to the old town. Our room was big, the only drawback was the bathroom which was across the corridor, so go pack some nice pyjamas!;-). Breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed our short stay at Bergamo and the hospitality of B&B Ghiri.

  Perfect stay

  Liked: We had a perfect stay at B&B I Ghiri. The location is very convenient, with easy parking at the house and also a handy garage near the old town (just through the arch at the first exit from the roundabout). Breakfast was excellent – thank you Ennio! Highly recommended.

  Strongly recommeded to visit Bergamo

  Liked: We stay in this place for one night asa transit and to visit the city and we couldn't be in a better place. Our room was expectaly as expected and we have been welcomed by the owner that has take care of us. We also experience a very nice local restaurant that we have been recommended by the owner. Strongly recommend to stay in this place
