  Relaxing, enjoyable, home from home

  Liked: Porta Dipinta is in a great location near the centre of Bergamo's Old Town with its historic streets and buildings. A 5 minute (uphill) walk takes you to the main street in the old town. A longer downhill walk takes you into Bergamo's new town with great transport links to surrounding cities, more shops and restaurants. Porta Dipinta offers everything you need while on holiday and the hosts are generous with the food, towels, bedding and other household supplies available to guests. The hosts even helped us organise a taxi to connect with the train journey we took to Venice.

  Liked: It was a real pleasure staying in this beautiful apartment. The location was absolutely perfect, right in the charming old part of town and in one of the highest parts of the city. The main square, as well as many great restaurants and bars, are just a short walk away. The apartment itself is very spacious, stylish, comfortable, and well equipped. You can really feel the care, thought, and attention to detail in every part of the space, which creates a very special atmosphere. We truly enjoyed our stay and felt very comfortable here. I would definitely love to return and stay here again in the future. Highly recommended!

  Beautiful charming apartment in the hart of Bergamo Alta

  Liked: Check in with Marissa was quick and easy. She gave us a quick overview of the surroundings and tips where to go for a drink and to eat. The bar next door with the amazing amount of beers was fantastic and the pizza place off the beaten track in the olde city and was awesome and great value for money. The apartment had a big kitchen with dining table and plenty space in the lounge to sit. The fridge was stocked with food for the next morning breakfast. Outdoor patio is beautiful although it was too hot for us to enjoy it. We could use the washing machine and dryer which was a bonus. This is a very old building and so the bedrooms are downstairs and are a bit dark but thats to be expected. Location was perfect for our stopover - right in the old city!
