  A truly lovely experience. Highly recommended, and we would happily stay here again!

  Liked: Excellent stay – Wonderful hospitality and perfect location!

  Disliked: We had an excellent stay! The property is beautifully located, very clean, charming and romantic, making it a wonderful place to enjoy Bergamo. Although the road was temporarily closed and we couldn’t reach the property by car, the staff went out of their way to help us, coming to meet us and assisting with our luggage. Their kindness and willingness to help made a real difference. Everything was excellent, from the location and atmosphere to the cleanliness and hospitality.

  Liked: Great location with beautiful views. Staff is very helpful. Excellent breakfast, the best we had on our vacation.

  Spectacular location, beautiful hotel, wonderful staff

  Liked: We visited the hotel during a road trip and my only complaint is that we weren't there long enough! A beautiful, peaceful spot, with spectacular views over the Citta Alta and across the whole region. The hotel was immaculate, the staff were incredibly helpful, the on-site parking was perfect (though possibly tight to access for those with bigger cars) and the location was unbelievable. The Superior Double room was well appointed and spacious, with a quiet shared terrace outside, but we spent out evening by the castle tower which had stunning views. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful with a wide choice of options and great coffee, all served on the balcony. The hotel is nestled into the castle and steps lead right from the entrance to the top where there are four lookouts with views in every direction. The top of the funicular is a two minute walk from the hotel, which takes you down into the old walled town, with bars and restaurants, making this a perfect location from which to explore Bergamo. It's also a short hop to the lakes, with Garda little more than an hour away. We will definitely be returning, and hopefully for a longer stay!
