Exceptional
Nice place but uncomfortable breakfast
Liked: Big bedroom with very nice decoration, functional bathroom and with good shower head. Location is nice and the place was super clean. Very friendly staff and really good coffee.
Disliked: I feel uncomfortable at the breakfast as we can not serve ourselves, you need to tell what you want and they will place on your plate. There was only 4 eggs for everybody staying there (i normally eat 3 eggs, so no chance), there was no cheese. Suggestion: either make a pre prepared table for each guest in the breakfast or let them serve themselves.
Liked: The place is very authentic and unique with a lot of character. We arrived late and Antonio was kind to wait for a check in around 11pm, due to our flight. Also, he kindly suggested a local pizzeria that was still open for a late dinner. Breakfast was served in a cute garden area. The espresso was one of the best we have had on our travels. Antonio mum's chocolate cake was something out of the other world- perfetto! Grazie!
Disliked: It was a little loud in the morning from the noises downstairs, as the room we stayed was right above the reception/dining area. The building has lots of charm but for the same reason, it's a little bit squeaky and creaky (just a heads up for the light sleepers!)

Liked: We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. It has a truly authentic, island-style atmosphere, which makes it feel very special and unique. The inner courtyard is beautiful and well maintained, creating a peaceful and relaxing environment. The owners are extremely kind and welcoming, and you can clearly see that this is a family-run business where a lot of heart and care has been invested over the years to continuously improve the place. Breakfast was delicious and traditional, featuring fresh homemade-style pastries as well as savory options such as eggs, sandwiches, juice, and very good coffee. The whole place is very quiet and calm, perfect for a relaxing stay. Our room was clean, comfortable, and equipped with air conditioning. The bed was soft and comfortable, and the bathroom was also very clean and well maintained. One small note for future guests: not all rooms have a terrace or balcony. In our case, the room did not have either, although we initially expected a terrace based on the photos. It might be worth double-checking room details before booking if a balcony or terrace is important for your stay. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful, authentic, and charming place to stay.
Disliked: It would be helpful to provide adapters for Italian power sockets, as most of the plugs in the room were Italian type. There was only one European socket available in the bathroom, which we used to charge our phones, so having adapters in the room would make things much more convenient for international guests. It would also be a nice addition to have a small minibar or mini fridge, if possible, so guests could store and keep drinks cool during their stay.
