Between the port and Castello, this district of narrow streets has guesthouses, apartments and small hotels. The station, the port and the restaurants are on foot.
Castello
Inside the walls, up high, there are small places to stay and apartments in historic buildings, some with views over the gulf. The cathedral and the Bastione di Saint Remy are next door, but there are slopes and car access is limited.
Stampace and Villanova
These historic districts, either side of Castello, have guesthouses and apartments in a more residential setting. Stampace is near the Roman amphitheatre and Villanova is well connected with Poetto.
Poetto
Along the city beach there are hotels, apartments and holiday accommodation facing the sea. Molentargius is next door and there are buses to the centre.
