  Fabulous Hotel

  Lovely stay but a few niggles

  Liked: Good location, very friendly and helpful staff. Facilities very clean.

  Disliked: We only had one socket in the room near the bed,not ideally placed. Most guests need to charge phones, iPad and use a hairdryer. We also didn't like using paper cups for hot drinks. Breakfast although nice it was a little chaotic. The breakfast buffet could have included the basics, e.g, milk. We felt we had to continually ask, we should have been able to help ourselves.

  A charming and memorable stay with truly wonderful staff — I only wish we had stayed longer!

  Liked: Everything was perfect — the room, the atmosphere, the staff, and the location. I was traveling with my sister, and this was the last hotel of our trip through the south of Sardinia. We wanted to stay close enough to the airport while still being able to spend one full day visiting Cagliari before flying home. My only regret is that we stayed for just one night! From the moment we arrived, it felt as though we had been transported back in time. The hotel has incredible charm and feels almost like a beautiful private residence belonging to an upper-bourgeois family at the beginning of the 20th century. It feels elegant, cozy, and full of character. Our room was extremely spacious and almost divided into four separate areas: a lovely and comfortable balcony, the bedroom, an additional room with a sofa bed that gave us plenty of space for our luggage, and a large bathroom. The hotel also has an elevator, which was very much appreciated since we were traveling with heavy luggage. Check-in was very easy. We arrived before the official check-in time, and the staff was kind enough to let us check in early. They also asked whether we preferred the bed in its queen configuration or as twin beds. When I said twin beds, they immediately called the very sweet housekeeping lady, who came right away and rearranged everything for us. There is also a beautiful common sitting room for guests — almost like a large living room or boudoir — where you can read, have a drink, relax, or simply enjoy the atmosphere. My sister and I used it to sit and write our postcards. It felt both cozy and luxurious at the same time. The location is excellent. The hotel is in a very quiet neighborhood, yet only a short walk from Cagliari's old town. There is no private parking directly at the hotel, but we found street parking nearby without any difficulty. We spent a wonderful day exploring the old town on foot.

  Liked: The location was great for walking into the city (20mins) and for driving to explore the beaches. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We booked a family room and were given an inter connecting room which gave us more space and 2 bathrooms. Nice balcony to sit on in the evening. Very quiet location.

  Disliked: Breakfast was OK, not a huge selection but ample for our needs.

  Liked: Its very nice property with great rooms, great architecture. It must be some very cool villa 50 years ago of very rich family. There is plenty space for anything, big balcon, rest rooms and nice restaurant. You can order eggs for breakfast way you like, and helpfull staff also. We can park motorcycles inside.
