Fabulous
Liked: Only stayed 1 night but it was perfect for that. Great location, easy communication for check in, clean, fridge & tea/coffee facilities. Felt safe as a solo female traveller
Location for Station and Cruise Port very good but doesnt feel very safe after dark
Liked: LOCATTION WAS GOOD FOR STATION AND CRUISE PORT
Disliked: The property entrance should be permanently lit as we found it very unerving trying to enter the building,then find the lights to get to the staircase/lift (which had been left open on 4th floor) we could not use thus having to lug suit cases up four flights of stairs trying to find switches for timed lighting as we went.When we got to the 4th floor we then had to use our phone light to see the key safe,On entering our room it was quite pleasant,but no milk had been left for us to make a cup of tea/coffee.There was a station coffee bar opposite,but due to alot of undesirable people hanging around i did not fell safe,then have to go through the experience of getting back to my room.The doors to the room were very flimsy so we left our cases popped up against them for a bit more security.We arrived at 9.30 pm(we had notified Hotel of our expected late arrival)i do think someone should have been there to meet us
Liked: Great location. The building and rooms are a little rough around the edges but generously sized. An extremely comfortable bed was a treat on a long trip But the standout is the staff, who go out of their way to be helpful and to make your stay a pleasure.
Disliked: The bed in our room is in a loft reached by very steep uneven stairs, a fact not mentioned in the descriptions or apparent in any photos.

Ok for a short night
Liked: Location near the train and bus stations. Cleanliness of the room. Vintage lift. High ceiling. AC.
Disliked: View from the window facing a wall. Sink in the bathroom just behind the door. Got lucky to meet a resident to use the lift because the room is on the 4th floor. Bit hard to find the light switches in the common areas.
