Exceptional
Disliked: I made a mistake ordered a room. For the day after I arrived they didn't want to cancel or give me a night before and I had to find another place to stay. All restaurants close at 17:00 near the place and we stayed without dinner. Breakfast is between 8:00 to 10:00 Left the room at 8:20 no staff and no breakfasts. Reminding you with no dinner or breakfast that day and without coffee.
Raffaele's place made our first visit to Anacapri a memorable one! Thank you!
Liked: Raffaele was a wonderful host, and very helpful. The room was charming and comfortable with a small terrace, complete with outdoor kitchen. Breakfast was fabulous. The setting was beautiful, filled with plants and flowers -- even a pomegranate tree! Walkable to all the sites and restaurants. A lovely stay!

Great location, lovely room and warm hospitality
Liked: I stayed at Il Veliero for one night in September and really enjoyed my stay. The location is excellent, in the heart of Anacapri, very close to Villa San Michele and the pedestrian shopping streets. The room was spacious and clean, with high ceilings and lovely Capri-inspired decorations. I liked the colourful bedding, artwork and thoughtful details. It was also well equipped, with a large TV, a refrigerator, a kettle and air conditioning. There was a small outdoor seating area just outside the room. Breakfast was very good, with a generous buffet selection of pastries, cakes, yoghurt, fruit, cold cuts and cheeses. Raffaele was friendly and welcoming. He kindly allowed me to leave my suitcase before check-in so I could spend the morning exploring the island. I also appreciated his attention at breakfast, and we had a lovely conversation in Italian when I visited the souvenir shop. Overall, a pleasant stay with a great location, a comfortable room and a warm welcome. Thank you, Raffaele!
Disliked: The bathroom was the main area that could be improved. It was clean and everything worked, but it felt a little dated. The shower cubicle was rather small, the lighting was dim, and some fittings showed signs of wear. Finding the entrance was also confusing. I messaged in advance to ask which entrance to use, since the address appeared to lead to a souvenir shop, but I didn't receive a reply before arriving. I eventually found the gate myself. Once there, everything went smoothly. The room had no separate window; its natural light came through the glazed entrance door, so closing the curtains for privacy reduced the daylight. Also, the property is on a pedestrian street, so you need to walk a few minutes with your luggage from the nearest road accessible by car. These were fairly minor inconveniences overall, but worth knowing in advance.

Liked: The room was clean
Disliked: Toilet was too old and flush makes too much noise. The bed was not comfortable and it was old fashion and makes noise. Additionally, breakfast was poor and there wasn’t enough eggs for my partner since she woke up later. It was said that breakfast is until 10am and although it was before 10am they refuse to give eggs when we ask for it.

Liked: Nice accommodation next to Villa Michele and Phoenician stairs. Not far away you have a wonderful view of the Capri Marina Grande. The rooms was big and clean, comfortable beds, nice Italian breakfast and the host was really nice and helpful.
