  Our host, the accommodations and the area were just perfect!

  Liked: The property was perfectly situated right in the center of Castellina's cozy little main square and easy to access.

  Disliked: Only thing on a longer-term stay that would have been necessary was a small refrigerator. Everything else was perfectly appointed.

  We would book this again, and hope to return for more exploring in this delightful area of Tuscany

  Liked: Beautiful location in the heart of the Village of Castellina. Walk out the door and you are on a cobble stone Street, pedestrians only, and just walk a few steps in any direction for a delicious espresso, pastry, aperitif, shopping, or just to wander. Down the street is a COOP for groceries and a Farmacia for toiletries, etc. The local townspeople are delightful and friendly - it was very nice to be amongst them for the days that we stayed there. Everyone greets you with a friendly smile and assisted if we every had questions. Enjoyed many delicious meals in the town and, of course, exceptional wines. Gaia was a very nice hostess and she is a wonderful tour guide of the area. We stayed during the heat wave, but the rooms have fans and windows that open up to the breeze that comes through the valley. Just gazing out those windows was magical - the views!!! Thank you again, Gaia, for your warm hospitality

  Disliked: If you are not able to do a lot of stairs, this could be challenging. We did not mind the stairs at all.

  Liked: If you dream of staying in a real palace, waking up to magical Tuscan landscapes, watching deer in the morning, and enjoying unforgettable sunrises, then you should stay with Gaia. This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. And if you have the chance to take the tour of the palace, don’t miss it – it is a real adventure and one of the highlights of the stay. The apartment has everything you could possibly need and even more. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered to make guests feel at home. The village itself is small, charming, and looks like it belongs on a postcard. Thank you so much for your warm hospitality. We will always remember our time here and hope to return one day.

  A gem in the Heart of History

  Liked: Palazzo Bianciardi is a beautiful place in a truly historic area. Staying here feels like being in the heart of history, with everything right at your doorstep. The view from the ruins is absolutely spectacular and unforgettable. Gaia is such a sweetheart, warm, welcoming, and attentive, which makes the stay even more special. Being right in the center of everything, you couldn’t ask for a better location. Highly recommended!

  Disliked: One of the rooms does not have a separation between the bathroom and the other room. Other than that, everything was perfect.
