Exceptional
They will try to rip you off with towel rental
Liked: Unique property tucked far away in the woods but just a 5 minute drive to town. Nice pool.
Disliked: When you pay over $200 per night you don’t expect to have to pay for a cup of bad coffee ( no cream/milk provided). You also don’t expect to be ripped off by paying $5.25 to “ rent” a pool towel. Also, we were granted a 2 pm check in but the receptionist didn’t come until 3. She said she left the key in the door. Which door?? A bit disappointing overall due to the unresponsiveness and nickel and diming. Would not return due to this.
Great stay. Very relaxing
Liked: The hotel is a great option for a Tuscany type of vacation. Very nice host, large room, located close to a a great city with good restaurants.
Disliked: The check in is available until 7PM. We didn't know about that. Luckily we got there on time. We were not informed about this in advance. If you miss that, you will need to look for a different hotel.. There is a not paved road leading to the hotel (around 2KM). This is very typical to Tuscany. Just be prepared for that
Highly recommended
Liked: Fabiola was a lovely host. She was ready with wonderful recommendations of places to see and visit and was happy to make reservations for us. Her villas are beautiful. It was great value for money.
Liked: The main house was even more beautiful than the pictures, if that is even possible. We had a great time and were so well taken care of by Fabiola. We recommend going on the wine tour to Pomona, a truly authentic experience.
Disliked: We had some trouble with one of the airconditions, but I am sure this is fixed now.
Very enjoyable
Liked: Location was stunning, liked the views over the vineyards. Appreciated being able to go up to the winery to see the grapes being pressed.
Disliked: The entrance is too rough and bumpy, particularly returning after a day and dinner out, driving in the dark was very difficult. Coffee and tea should be available at no cost, as it usually is in other properties.
Fabulous stay made all the better with Fabiola and the team’s hospitality throughout
Liked: Very relaxing place to stay. Great facilities, lovely staff and great breakfast
