Very good
Highly recommend Catania Best Western
Liked: The Best Western has everything you will ever need for a comfortable stay. The staff are SUPER helpful and their English is brilliant. The rooms are very clean and it is easy to walk to attractions close by. They have roller shutters which make the room nice and dark at night and SKY TV if you want some downtime. I didn't realise they had a gym until I was leaving.
Disliked: There was nothing whatsoever that I didn't like about this hotel.
Great value
Liked: The property was clean and the staff was friendly. The breakfast room was small but that didn’t affect us as there didn’t seem to be any large groups. The breakfast itself gave many choices and was good value. Our first night there they recommended a nearby restaurant, which had the best swordfish of our trip. They also helped coordinate transfers to/from the airport.
Disliked: It was a bit farther from the centro and the area was dark in the streets around the hotel so didn’t want to be out and about late. This isn’t anything the hotel can help but I feel is important to know if booking. We had a very early flight home so we didn’t mind.
Great value
Liked: The property was clean and the staff very friendly. I thought I had booked breakfast when I reserved but apparently did not. This, however, was not an issue and we were able to add it in.
Disliked: It was a bit farther from the centro than I thought. Also, the streets around the hotel were not well lit. Nothing that the hotel can do about that but it’s something to be aware of. We were not coming/going during late hours so it wasn’t an issue.
Liked: Clean place in good location with friendly staff.
Liked: Cleanliness, bathroom, balcony, staff!
Disliked: Nothing. Would stay there again.
Great for a short or long stay
Liked: Nice place, very accommodating staff, ready to help with any need. Clean room, clean bathroom. Great location, short walk to the old part of Catania, garden, mall,cathedrals and fish market. Could not ask for better. And they have parking services if driving.
