Fabulous
Liked: We had a wonderful stay at Casa Beretti in Catania! The location was excellent, and the owner was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Everything made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Catania.
Everything was great, it was very clean and it met our expectations
Liked: The bathroom was great and we surely liked the air-condition
Disliked: everything was perfect, but it is better not to walk alone on the streets
Liked: Very good option, especially for a short stay. Just a few minutes walking distance from the old center. The host, Alessio, and staff were very friendly and responsive. Offered nice cold bottle of water every morning and to store the luggage after check out. The room and private bathroom was very clean. Alessio was very proactive and helpful in his communication. Thank you for your hospitality:) Would definitely come back:)
Disliked: Some of the side streets can feel a bit dodgy and there is no elevator. This is not a problem generally as the rooms are on floor 1 but if you are travelling with access needs it's good to be aware. The sink was a bit high for my short height 😄and the shower water tended to get cold sometimes. I didn't mention this during my stay as it didn't bother me in the hot weather but in cooler times it could be an issue.

Disliked: Our room didn't have a tv 🫣
Liked: The room as a whole had a great design and a lovely atmosphere. The bathroom was spacious and clean, with a large shower. The towels and bed linen were clean, fresh and nicely scented. We also appreciated the good overall cleanliness and the hairdryer, which worked well. Alessio was a wonderful and very helpful host. He kindly allowed us to leave our luggage at the accommodation after check-out while we explored the city, which was extremely convenient and much appreciated.
Disliked: We did not feel comfortable with the surrounding area. Some nearby streets felt spooky and unsafe, with a noticeable presence of many Black people and other suspicious-looking individuals. But this is a city problem.
