Fabulous
Be careful and expect than you can’t you own toilet room and to get to the bathroom via the shared corridor even you boo
Liked: Location, balcony in room.
Disliked: Bathroom in other room without lock (when you out the apartment other people can use it). power outages was 2 times during our staying, and during this we waited for the instructions so long. There was no prior communication regarding check-in (we arrived at 11:00 PM) from the owners, I need to catch deliver man who went in the same building. Pillow was not so comfortable, it look like more decorative and bed linen and towels look like they wasn’t washed, and better have it in white color. There are only a couple of power outlets in inconvenient locations; it would be good to have an extension cord for appliances.
The stay was overall nice and pleasant
Liked: The property was nice and clean and in a good location. The room looked like in the pictures, it was spacious and clean.
Disliked: some of the facilities listed in the description were missing, for example the kettle and iron with ironing board were not there. The communication with the host was a little weird and we encountered some problems while checking in, but it was solved within an hour.
Nice place. The host was super nice and recommended us a lot of tourist/food spots. Overall a great stay! ❤️

Liked: The host was extremely supportive, approachable, and was always immediately responding to all of my questions from texts and calls. She was very helpful during my entire stay. The room was a good size, comfortable, good working AC unit, and very clean. I had a private bathroom with a toilet, a bidet, a sink, and a shower just a couple of steps outside of my room.
Disliked: If you have a car, parking is a problem: you can park right in front of the building, but although parking is free in the evening, at night, and in the weekends, but you cannot park there during the day. During the day you need to find a parking garage or a parking spot somewhere else. But this is not against the property, it is a common thing in a city.
Basic
Liked: Very clean
Disliked: Cracked beside lamp base 5 flights of stairs to climb if booked in room at the top not feat id you can't use a lift! You have to share a bathroom, can get busy so be prepared to wait. Bed very hard and uncomfortable. No mirror above table so had to use one in the bathroom. Our universal plug adapter did not fit in the plugs! No idea why so unable to use or charge phones properly and had to do this via restaurants etc. Very noisy location. Cracked pelmet above blind so couldn't pull it down properly as didn't want to pull the entire unit off. Not in town centre itself and it's a 3 mile walk from the airport, so not central as indicated. Towels rough.
Liked: The apartment is very central in Catania and easily accessible with the public transport. The room is large and clean with a fast working AC. What would have been nice were hooks on the wall to put for instance towels on or such things.
Disliked: The apartment has shared bathrooms which we did not read when booking it. That’s our fault because we did not read the description but it would have been nice if it was listed within the amenity icons. Unfortunately the shared bathrooms were not particular clean. We gave the impression that that was due to other guest staying in. The one bathroom was flooded almost the whole time with people walking through it with dirty shoes, so the floor was often quite dirty and muddy. During the second day somebody shat on the toilet. That was really disgusting and we therefore avoided using the toilet. It’s not the owners fault, but I think a more regular cleaning would have been beneficial. Cause the toilet remained the same throughout the day. Furthermore, there was a young group of girls staying it that constantly forgot their keys and terror-rang the bells at all times during the day. We also know that this isn’t the owners fault, but maybe the door/ key situation could have been handled differently e.g., with a code or so. Overall, we unfortunately did not really enjoy the stay.
