Pleasant, thanks to the courteous staff who were always very helpful
Liked: The room was spacious and the view from the balcony was lovely. Breakfast was plentiful and well balanced.
Disliked: AC was switched off at night. We had to sleep with the balcony door open but it was too noisy with cars and the luna park next door. Garage charge was also too expensive.
Liked: The. Breakfast is fantastic and the staff were great
Disliked: We stayed two nights but the tea mugs in the room were not washed before putting back in their place by room attendants. And the mattress has a roll off feeling, probably needs changing. It was raining and the protected footpath is not well lit causing a slight fall. The bath shower head is a cheap item which makes all the difference if it replaced regularly
Liked: Pool and bar service was excellent... relaxing!
Disliked: Room was ok until air conditioning was defective. Was moved to another room late at night... had to share bed with my travel mate... due to no other rooms being available.

Liked: Nice location away from the city centre, excellent breakfast, friendly staff, very good pool area and possibility to dip in to the sea.
Very pleasant break between parts of our holiday and convenient for visiting Mt Etna

Disliked: No inside bar area and it seemed there weren't enough staff around the pool and bar area
A beautiful hotel in an excellent location, with friendly staff
Liked: Excellent location; very friendly and helpful staff - particularly Elsa and Salvatore, who went the extra mile with our questions and when we had a question over our bar bill. Following an accident with my husband due to a faulty sun-bed, the life guard was concerned and helpful, bringing ice and checking in on him the rest of the day. Early evening we had a welcome surprise when the barman brought us a bottle of sparkling wine on ice to our room - a very nice gesture. The pool was wonderful - a lovely large pool with a perfect temperature! I enjoyed being able to walk through a tunnel from the hotel to the sea! The maids were lovely and friendly and did an excellent job looking after our room.
Disliked: The sun beds need updating….showing signs of wear and tear and the sun visor kept falling down. We had toasted sandwiches and a club sandwich which was very disappointing ….the club sandwich (at 14 euros) amounted to one slice of white bread, cut into two triangles with a basic ham & cheese filling and no salad garnish. There was also a limited choice for a lighter lunch …. surprisingly no chicken or tuna salads, or any omelettes. I’m sure the pasta dishes etc were very nice however, but we prefer to have a lighter meal.
