Fabulous
Liked: A beautiful old building into the city center area. Easy to reach all the touristic places, only in few minutes walk from via Etnea. The staff was very kind, helpful and polite.
Solo traveler it was adequate

Disliked: The room was dirty, the so called balcony is actually a frame for the air conditioning unit. The photos shown on booking.com are nothing like the actual rooms. Don't go near the dump
Large space
Liked: This was a very last minute booking as our flight was cancelled and we had to scramble to stay somewhere one more night. The woman who checked us in was so very lovely and was very empathetic to our situation. Our room was huge with a separate living room.
Disliked: The price was a little high but the airport will refund us so no matter.

Like staying with friends...loved it
Liked: The location was amazing, everything is in walking distance. It is an authentic sicilian hotel, we found the breakfast plentiful, fresh local pastries or toast,fruit, jams, coffees made to order etc. The staff were lovely, so welcoming, full of helpful advice.Air con which was very welcome in july when we visited.
Disliked: There are no complaints from us. But as an observation I feel some won't appreciate it's authentic feel, & should read description carefully = 2 flights of stairs to reach hotel.
