Fabulous
a great base from which to explore the East coast of Sicily
Liked: location was good, decor in room very tired and wallpaper peeling at the edges. it all looked shabby. However location is great for exploring the island, close to interbus depot and station, staff very helpful with travel arrangements and ideas on what to see.
Disliked: Room decor was very old and in need of update

Disliked: Not the best area of Catania. Only advantage of location is close to railway station
Adequate for the price
Liked: Breakfast ( not included in room price) was adequate and lovely on the outdoor patio
Disliked: Mattress and pillows were hard and uncomfortable
Liked: The garden was just marvelous. I will recommend it and return for sure.

A simple stay in a central location
Liked: The hotel is within walking distance of the central train station, where I arrived via the Alibus from the airport. The room was very simple but huge and clean. Breakfast in the courtyard was good.
Disliked: It was a bit hard to find late at night because it’s in an alley/side street, and not brightly lit, but to be fair, unfortunately my flight was delayed and I arrived VERY late. The area has a few ‘interesting’ people hanging around as it’s fairly industrial and so close to the train station, but also lots of tourists so I felt relatively safe on my own.
