A Perfect Family Stay – Welcoming Host, Beautiful Loft and a Private Oasis!
Liked: Writing We stayed at I Pittaneri for 5 nights in early October 2026 in Loft Est, and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience! From the get-go, we felt incredibly welcome. Valeria, our host, was in contact before our arrival with detailed self-check-in instructions, including a video showing us how to use the coffee machine, which was greatly appreciated! The loft itself was amazing, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything our family needed for a comfortable stay. The pool area felt like our own private oasis, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The location is around 30 minutes outside Catania city, with bus stops just a short walk from the front gate. There’s also a Lidl about 10 minutes away, which has everything you might need during your stay. Valeria was exceptionally accommodating when it came to checkout, allowing us to stay beyond the usual checkout time so our son could have his nap before our flight home. This was such a thoughtful gesture and made our travel day so much easier. We would highly recommend I Pittaneri to anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of Catania while still being close enough to enjoy everything the city has to offer. And finally, if you’re a cat lover, there are two very friendly resident cats who are just as welcoming as the host! Thank you, Valeria, for a fantastic stay. We would love to return!

Liked: We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. The place is located on a private piece of land, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for anyone looking to unwind. The house, along with the garden and pool, is absolutely stunning and very well maintained. The host was extremely kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. Everything was easy to arrange, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. Although the property is slightly outside the city, it only takes about 10 minutes by car to reach the center, so the location is still very convenient. A special highlight was the visit from two lovely cats, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything we needed. Overall, we highly recommend this place and would definitely come back again. ✌️😊

Family vacation in Catania
Liked: Super professional host and great place with excellent pool.
Disliked: The location is great if you have a car. Otherwise I guess you can take the bus that stops just outside. One day I jogged to the beach. Take a look at the map; the place is not by the beach nor in Catania’s historical center. This is well compensated by the garden, the pool and the high standard - I don’t think you can find that by the beach or in the city center. The traffic outside the garden was not an issue and the road is certainly not a highway.
