Fabulous
Liked: Nice room, comfy bed, friendly staff, central location, breakfast in the bed (you get a knock on the door at the time of your choosing)
Disliked: 1.) The breakfast was all sweet (croissant, jam, fruit, coffee), which is probably normal in Italy, not so normal elsewhere... 2.) The bedroom is fine, but the bathroom and the corridors can feel a little dirty and worn down, with a bit of mold in the shower, doors that won't close unless locked, and a toilet that sounds like a rocket taking off after you flush. Also the water boiler makes some crazy noises, adding to the overall feeling of the whole Catania barely holding together.
Excellent Location
Liked: The location Is excellent. The Bernadettini Monastery is very near. A must visit. The main cathedral square is 10 minutes walk away. Hundreds of restaurants there. The single room is very cute. ( It's not red as the picture shows) but tastefully painted. Quiet room. Mina is very welcoming. Also easy to walk to airport bus stop.
The place was very clean and comfortable.. near to the center
Liked: It was very clean and the staff was very friendly
Good, confortable room with nice people
Liked: The breakfast was great, and it was wonderful that it was delivered to the room.
Disliked: There was a night when the owners had a small dinner party. It was very upsetting not being able to rest because at midnight they were still whistling and making other mild noises.
General good, but the shower was disappointing
Liked: It is a long walk from the station, the location is great The room was large and comfortable
Disliked: The bathroom was small. If you dropped the soap in the shower you needed to open the door to bend down to get it
Great location, lovely host, and delicious breakfasts – highly recommended
Liked: A very pleasant host and a great location – everything is close by. The breakfasts were tasty, and the room was cozy and well-equipped with everything I needed. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend it! ☕
