Good
Disliked: We booked little Italy for 3 nights and we ended up booking another accommodation right after we entered in the room. There was a very bed smell of mould in the all room and sewer when you opened the sink. You could feel the mold right in your throat, being asthmatic we couldn't sleep there without even a window. The good thing is that as soon as we wrote to the property, they immediately refunded us. The point is, a room like this shouldn't even be on Booking.

Disliked: Innanzitutto è un cantina senza finestre, o meglio una si apre sull’androne del palazzo. La stanza è al piano terra. È umido, non sono stati cambiati gli asciugamani e le lenzuola, pochissimo spazio per muoversi, sporco, angusto, puzza di umido, condizionatore presente ma con un rumore tremendo e gocciola acqua

Liked: Descent for the price... Had all basic amenities. The host was very helpful. My overall opinion is that, considering the price, Little Sicily is ok for staying 2-3 nights, but nothing special.
Disliked: The toilet flush was running all day long and it was noisy and annoying, especially during the night. The building was very old and purely maintained, resulting extreme moisture (we were waking up sweaty at night) and a wierd smell.
NOT A GOOD IDEA
Liked: Unfortunately we can't say that we really liked anything at all.
Disliked: The location, even if it was very close to the historic center and the city's "life", didn't seem very safe. The property even from the outside seemed like it should be renovated. Our apartment was at the ground floor, next to the main entrance of the building, so there was quite a few noise from people getting in and out of the property. The smell of the apartment was awful, our clothes still stink 2 days after we have left, no joke. The laminated floor was damaged, the bathroom door didn't close completely and the shower was blocked and we had to use the plunger before each one of us had a shower. Also, the bed covers had a nasty smell and the apartment's door was very hard to open as there was no handle or grip. Giuseppe, the host, seemed nice from the text messages and he told me that we didn't have to pay for the city tax (per person per night of accommodation) as a gift for the inconvenience with the shower. I surely appreciate this gesture, BUT the thing is that he never let us know we had to pay any taxes (which someone could think of it as a trick for not getting negative reviews because of the apartment's condition). Finally, the photos and the description of the apartment do not represent the reality. We didn't feel comfortable at all at any time! Unfortunately, I definitely don't recommend it!
