Liked: The location was very practical for sightseeing, clean and nice amenities, also the breakfast was good. A very nice staff, they agreed to keep my luggage and myself in the vicinity while I waited for my train at night! Thank you so much!
Liked: Fully equiped kitchen, free luggage, friendly atmosphere, clean facilities
Disliked: No bath towels provided
Ideal spot for coming to and from the airport with a short walk to main town!
Liked: Amazing staff who were kind and helpful! Great breakfast included. Big kitchen and nice facilities. Location is ideal for the airport as well as walking into town
Disliked: Nothing not to like really it was good for the short 1 night I was there
Liked: Extremely satisfied with the accommodation and stay in the hostel - planned to stay for 3 days, stayed for 5. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere. On foot: 5 minutes to the center, 2 minutes to the fish market, 25 minutes to the beach, 25 minutes to the train station. Cleanliness is 5+ both in the room and in the bathroom with a bathroom. Ability to calmly prepare food in the shared kitchen, which is completely empty after 7 pm. The price includes, albeit simple, but delicious breakfasts, which is very convenient, as it saves both time and budget.
Liked: First and foremost, it’s the people who welcome you here — the cheerful and friendly Salvo and Reza. Whatever question or problem you have, just ask them, and they’ll find a solution.👍🏻 I spent my entire first night at the hostel feeling frustrated and suffering from the stuffiness. The women’s dorm had no windows in the walls, only skylights in the ceiling, and I was convinced they were permanently sealed shut and were there just to let in some light. It was only the next morning, when I was already planning my escape, that I decided to ask if I could move to a room with proper windows. And guess what? The skylights could actually be opened with a remote control that had been lying on the table the whole time! A great reminder that sometimes you just need to ask. 😅 The hostel is well located, within walking distance of both the lively city centre and the bus station. The breakfast is tasty and filling (cake, pasta, oatmeal, and strong coffee), and there are lovely little balconies where you can sit, enjoy your food, and talk about the world with new acquaintances.
Disliked: What I didn’t like has to do with fellow travellers who complain that it’s “too noisy” and want peace and quiet by closing the windows. With several people sleeping in a closed room, CO₂, heat and humidity build up quickly, making the air stuffy, uncomfortable, affecting sleep quality and causing headaches. Please don’t close the windows just because you find the street noise annoying — bring earplugs and a sleep mask instead! It’s such a simple solution!!
Liked: The hostel has a great location, making it easy to explore the city. The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious and comfortable, the bathroom was clean, and the coffee was delicious. Overall, I really appreciated these aspects of my stay!
Disliked: Unfortunately, my stay was overshadowed by the disappearance of my earphones and my makeup bag containing several personal items. I understand that I could have been more careful with my belongings, but I contacted the hostel very quickly after realizing I might have lost or left them there. Despite reporting it so promptly, neither item was found. I was very disappointed, especially considering the value of my belongings and how quickly I reported the situation.
