It might be wonderful if you're looking for a beach location but avoid this site for airport travel

Liked: The only facility for food or drink opened at 7:30pm and they were wonderful. They had also been helpful earlier when I arrived with medical needles found on the beach and which required proper disposal.

Disliked: 1. Although this is right at the end of the runway, there is no easy access on foot, and the reception confirmed that walking was not an option upon our arrival. 2. If you don't have a car, costs for transport the seemingly short distance for over €25 to the hotel and over €60 for an early morning return to the airport. Commercial, military, canals and non-pedestrian roads make walking impossible. 3. The extremely loud music from the AfroBeat was drowned out by the jet engine roar during take-off. 4. We slept with light coming through the crack of exterior door of our room to the outside road. It certainly looked like the door had been jimmied open with a crow-bar but the small lock did keep intruders out. 5. But the order of cabbage, or perhaps cat pee, did not escape the room which had a dirty bathroom floor including both long hairs and well as short curlies.

Liked: Very big green park, parking, being 10 steps from fantastic beach, Catania is in a few kilometres, bungalows have nice windows

Disliked: Night beach club nearby emit very noisy music I think on Sundays which is terrible. I don't mind noise from ascending plains from near the airport., but that can be problematic for someone

Liked: Great location 😁 beach is clean, and looked after bus stop right outside the resort to go to the centre. I would say good value for money next time we will try to book one of the individual wooden bungalows seemed much more comfortable

Disliked: Please take this as constructive:Bit outdated and some more serious cleaning is required, and I know this is mother nature and not necessarily something that can be fixed but oh my goodness the mosquitos. Staff did not speak English in the restaurant they had no English menus all in dialect so when we asked the waitress what kind of meat is in one of the dishes she said pork, it was chicken. Breakfast was limited some diversity or option to ask for an omelette or fried egg at least would be nice, great fresh croissants though☺️.

Liked: Everything. And is close to the beach. And there are a few restaurants around very nice and decent price.

Disliked: No supermarkets around. You need to walk or take bus to closest one (Lidl or MD ~25min walk, 10min by bus, but the bus schedule is very chaotic).
