Siciliy road trip 2026
Liked: Good location, not a long walk to the beach or old town but out of the mayhem. Good off street parking and friendly staff. Nice room with balcony looking to the sea.

Liked: The room was absolutely spotless and very comfortable! The owner was so kind and helpful, and even gave us great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. Everything was clear and well organized, and the location was perfect, very close to everything, including the old town and the beach. Overall, everything was absolutely perfect. I highly recommend this place!!!

This accommodation offers very poor value for money. We left it despite having paid for our stay
Disliked: This was, without question, the worst accommodation we have ever stayed in. We paid approximately €300 per day for two rooms, yet the experience was so disappointing that we decided to book different accommodation and leave early, despite having already paid. Upon arrival, the host asked us to cancel our Booking.com reservation and pay him directly instead. This immediately made us uncomfortable. The accommodation is old and does not match the impression created by the photos. The bathtub drain was clogged, the towel holders were broken, and the sound insulation was extremely poor we could clearly hear conversations and noise from the neighboring rooms. Although there were four guest units sharing the property, guests were not allowed to use the kitchen. Despite outside temperatures of around 40°C, we were instructed not to leave the air conditioning running while we were away, which meant returning to an unbearably hot room each time. We also found the host’s constant presence in the property, together with cameras installed in the shared kitchen area, to be intrusive and to significantly reduce our sense of privacy. After writing this review, I read another guest’s comment describing the host as aggressive. Based on my own experience, I can understand why they felt that way, as we also found his behavior intimidating and uncomfortable during our stay. Overall, this accommodation offers very poor value for money. We decided to leave despite having paid for our stay, and based on our experience, we cannot recommend staying here.
