Liked: The breakfast was very good - plenty of choice and friendly and efficient service. The hotel was in the centre of town yet was very quiet in the room.
Disliked: A lot of steps (we were warned this could be a possibility) to our room which was pretty small. We also had to walk through the kitchen and breakfast room to access our bedroom. Communication between ourselves members of staff could have been better (admittedly it took me a long time to reply to a booking.com message from them due to other pressing commitments).
Liked: The breakfast was great. We were in the "Studio" and it was enormous. We had a problem with our car and Fabio was totally there for us! The location was great! The woman at breakfast was really nice!

Liked: Excellent breakfast, staff very helpful. Receptionist very helpful at check in when we discovered we left our passports at our hotel in Palermo that we were retutning too again after Celafu. She contacted the hotel for copies to emailed. Very helpful. Breakfast staff very friendly too & great food
Disliked: The haidryer did not appear to have much power or heat and took a long time to dry hair. I abandoned using it. But that is a very minor issue as our stay was excellent

Liked: Best location in Cefalu! Charming, historic building but felt completely remodeled in keeping with the architecture. Seemed to be family run - definitely a preference for me. After one day they remembered my preferred type of tea and my husband's coffee order. It is a couple of blocks to the beach and a couple of blocks to the square, the perfect launching spot. Our room (2 I think) was palatial with a king bed and 2 balconies. We faced the street but it was very quiet but for the toilet flush sound which doesn't happen between 10pm and 6am. Unbeatable experience, I feel sorry for people who stayed elsewhere. Great value as well. Everything including excursions is right out your front door. Our photos are from right outside the hotel. Caribbean-clear water, relatively warm in early October.
Disliked: Better make up lighting would be nice.
