Disaster
Liked: The property is 100% a scam. Starting with the photo of the view half of the panorama is behind an apartment complex not shown on the foto where local people play loud music day and night. A strong smell of sewage is inside the house ( the owner told me that is the council fault) but it’s not mentioned on the property information on booking.com The out door dining table looks new from the fotos but when we got there we found a rotten and broken table ( contacted the owner and he said that he wasn’t aware of it and was the cleaning person fault) The outside sofa was one of the reasons why we rented this property. Looks comfortable and new from fotos but again we got there and found a dirty, smelly and ripped sofa where I wouldn’t let my dog in it. Contacted the owner and told me that he couldn’t get new pillows because the summer holidays. The beds are out of shape. And the people upstairs kept forgetting to empty the air conditioning water bucket so put terrace was full of water more then one occasion. I have requested a partial refund of my fees. This is 100% a scam and fraud on fake advertisement. I hope the owner could read this review and be honest and admit that he ruined my 4 days in Sicily. See fotos attached.
Disliked: We liked Nothing about this property.
Liked: The apartment was very clean, and the terrace and the view were especially beautiful. Check-in instructions were sent the day before our arrival, and we had no issues accessing the property. We were aware that the apartment is located in the upper part of the town when we made the reservation. While it is not right in the center, it is not far either. There is a staircase within the complex that leads down toward the town, and we were able to walk both to the beach and to the city center in the evenings. The beds could have been a little more comfortable for our taste, and the Wi-Fi was occasionally slow. Other than that, the apartment was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience and enjoyed our time there.

Cefalu is nice but the apartment looks better in the pictures than it really is
Liked: Lovely views from the patio. Clean. Spacious bedrooms. Helpful owners
Disliked: Location. It says “about 50 steps from the old town/ village”. We counted 98, followed by a steep decent down a busy road for at least 200m until the start of the town. The beach is at least 200m further. The lounge is a settee jammed into the kitchen. The largest bedroom is obviously a lounge with no wardrobe and a bookshelf tv unit. A bit like student accommodation where you fit in as many beds as possible.
