Exceptional
great address to start and acclimatise for the cruise or other holiday
Liked: This is a great place just outside city. for people that go on cruise ships great place. easy transport with local bus service if you do not have a car. nice garden with lounge chairs and eating outside. friendly and very hospitable hosts
Disliked: be aware that taxis in general in Civitavecchia mostly run for cruise ships and are hard to find outside these peak hours, but hosts Rita and Michele offer to provide shuttle service to ships also, very nice!

Liked: From beginning to end, this was an amazing selection for our two night stay in Civitavecchia before boarding a cruise. Our hosts, Rita and Michele, couldn't have been more gracious. From offering to pick us up from the train to bringing us homemade lasagna, wine, olive oil, and bread, to making good suggestions for food, to finally bringing us to the port, they made us feel like family. The apartment, which is really an attached home to theirs, was extremely spacious, clean, and offered a very comfortable bed as well as a great, fully stocked kitchen for cooking, and a relaxing outside patio with lounge chairs which were great for relaxing. I know if I cruise from Rome (Civitavecchia) again, there's no question about where I'll stay. This is my home away from home.
Disliked: I only had two nights here.
Liked: Rita and Michele were an absolute Treasure. After traveling almost 18 hours we were tired and hungry My daughter looked at me and said, "Mom, I need something to eat." Michele said, I will make you lunch He came back with the most delicious pasta dish, made with the herbs, spices, and tomatoes from his garden! They also took me and my daughter to the pier in addition to picking my sister up from a separate location. If I ever get back to ITALY, I hope the house is available!!!!
Liked: We had a lovely stay at this house in Civitavecchia with our two kids. The location is perfect - just a short walk to the beach, a cozy spot nearby for breakfast, and a place with delicious pizza close by. The house itself is fully equipped with everything you need, and the garden is a true bonus, peaceful and perfect for relaxing after a day out. The owners were incredibly kind and helpful, always available to assist with any details we needed. It really felt like a home away from home. Highly recommended for families!
