  Would never return there

  Liked: It was close to the pier.

  Disliked: There was no hot water to take a shower. The other tenant that was there the day before told me he had to take a cold shower, the owner was told of the problem but did nothing about it. I called the owner and he came to fix the problem but he couldn't fix it so I didn't take a shower that night. The next day a plumber came in and fixed the water heater. The owner's wife was very understanding. The son struggled with language apart from italian. They want to be paid in cash as soon as you walk in. I can see why.

  It was the worst stay ever!!! Would never recommend it!

  Liked: The only good thing about this property- location.

  Disliked: 1. We were not informed that we need a key to the property. By luck we met the staff personal by the door with another couple. 2. Property Description has lift, but before you get to the lift, you need to go up 15-20 steps with your luggage. 3. Water in the shower and the sink was cold. NO hot water at all!!! 4. There was NO toilet paper when we got to the room!!! We had ro wait until the staff person bought it and brought to our room 5. Shower floor was dirty, the water did to drain,and all the dirt was on me feet, while I was showering with a cold water.

  Great place with friendly host

  Liked: Diego kept in contact with us and asked about our expected arrival time at the property so that he was able to meet us at the door. He was very friendly and welcoming and explained everything that we needed to know about the room. Even though breakfast wasn't included, Diego told us that there was a good supermarket across the street and we were able to eat in the communal lounge. We would thoroughly recommend MD House to anyone else and thanks for the great night's stay.

  Passable

  Liked: We stayed one night near ferry port so wasnt too fussy. The place is bedrooms with private bathroom within a shared kitchen and lounge area with balcony overlooking the street and a sea view. Place is pretty dull. I wouldn't stay there again, kitchen sparsely equipped, coffee capsules didn't fit coffee maker. Good job we brought our own coffee, a pretty tired place overall. Toilet flusher broke on first use and cistern took around an hour to refill. No aircon but does have a ceiling fan, bit of street noise but not bad. Host was OK to be fair, met us to check in, said he wouldve sorted the toilet had we called him but we checked our early next morning to catch the ferry so didnt bother. Could be really nice place with a bit of investment.
