Fabulous
Great hotel for weekend in Ferrara
Liked: Hotel was perfectly located, 5 minutes from main square. Staff were helpful, breakfast was great. Room was a good size and the shower was easy to navigate.
Disliked: Everything was fne.

Not bike-friendly. Avoid

Disliked: This is the 'Citta della Bicicletta' famous across Italy but the Hotel Touring charges €5 per bike to store your bike in their garage. They advertise this but it can only be considered as profiterring by the hotel. No other hotel that we have stayed in in 8 countries across Europe charges to store a bike in their garage. They responded to me in a private message that this was the advertised rate, but they are missing the point - relax your policy please and be more welcoming to the humble cyclist

Excellent location and great value, with a few drawbacks
Liked: Perfect location, literally a one-minute walk from Castello Estense. The hotel was very clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the bed was very comfortable. The air conditioning was quiet, which was a big plus. Breakfast was good, and overall the hotel offers excellent value for money. Would consider stay here again.
Disliked: The main downside is the parking. Although parking is included in the price, it is not located at the hotel or directly in front of it. You have to look for a space in the surrounding streets, which can take some time. We eventually found a spot on a nearby square, where there was a man informally acting as a parking attendant even though he did not appear to be an official one, which made the situation a bit uncomfortable. The shower cabin was extremely small and quite uncomfortable to use. Also, some parts of the room and its furnishings are starting to show their age and could definitely use some renovation or updating.
