Pleasant
Being rehoused
Liked: The location
Disliked: The hotel didnot anwer the phone although i tried to call 3 times. No response to my email either, in which I alerted them to my arrival time. The hotel had given my room to someone else, when I arrived. They did organise an equivalent room, so no lasting hassle. The staff at the new place did speak English, which helped.
In hindsight I would have paid more to be elsewhere
Liked: the location is really great, easily accessible from the train station (10 mins walking), and the view is pretty great. The bed was clean, and that's the only reason I put up with this stay for this one single night.
Disliked: A second bed (that we didn't really need) was removed while we were out, pillows were left behind. Toothpaste, socks and a jacket from previous guest(s) were left all over the room. The room and the restroom were really not clean. In the morning we were also awaken (twice at 8 and 9am) by someone from staff wanting to clean (I suppose) and telling us that the key to the room was at the lobby and questioning if (I) wasn't going to work that day (!??). My standards are very low compared to most people, I tolerate a lot, but this was a bit too much for me as well.
Disappointing
