Fabulous
This was the last stop on our trip and a good place to regroup before going home
Liked: Room was smallish but good. Breakfast was okay and staff was helpful. Regular hotel staff at desk were VERY helpful and nice - much appreciated. And it's in the Old Town so it was fun to walk around. We had a rental car and they were very helpful parking it for only 10-euros a night.
Disliked: Room could have been bigger, but no real complaints.
We will stay there again, nice friendly staff!!!!
Liked: All was good with this Hotel, location perfect!!! Breakfast value for money and rooms were perfect. We will stay there again if we ever go to Frascati again. Close to nice wine farms!!!

Dark, miserable rooms
Liked: Great location 5 minutes walk from the train station.
Disliked: Dark, tired rooms with old fashioned decor that is in great need to be upgraded. We were given the room with a disability bathroom, so had a really high toilet and wet room that soaked everything. The air con didn't work and to top it off the WiFi was rubbish.

Disliked: I found the breakfast room a little enclosed and lacking fresh air, and the breakfast selection didn’t quite meet expectations. The fruit wasn’t fully ripe, and the choices were limited. A few simple additions — fresh local bread, a small fruit salad, boiled eggs, or even the option to enjoy a pastry and coffee on the bar terrace outside would have been nice. And the bar absolutely gorgeous but sadly closed, which was a real pity.

Great place to relax right in the middle of town
Liked: This Hotel is right in the middle of the old town and has that rustic Italian feel about it. It’s a pleasant place to relax with a 25 minute train into Rome, if you need to be in the hustle and bustle of city life. All of the staff were very pleasant and helpful. There is an abundance of places to eat out around the Hotel. This little gem of a place is also not overloaded with tourists, and we look forward to returning to the Colonna Hotel for another break in the near future.
Disliked: We were a little disappointed that the bar was closed for some reason in the Hotel, but it wasn’t the end of the world, due to the surrounding establishments.
