  Stylish hotel, incredibly helpful team, lovely room, super-central - what more could you want

  Liked: Brilliant hotel right on the shores of Lake Garda. Reception team were amongst the most helpful we'd ever had, room was lovely and the bathroom had a door which opened onto a little terrace - a real bonus. Backout curtains and very quiet, comfy beds and well appointed bathroom - just came for 1 night but wished we'd have stayed longer. The restaurant at the front of the hotel gives 10% discount to hotel guests too - in case you go! We had an early start for our flight but they even opened the breakfast early for us so we could get a coffee and had prepared us a bag of goodies to take with us. Careful if you're driving as it's in a ZTL zone but you can park down the road, at the 24hr public car park right on the water's edge (only pay 8am till midnight). Really great stay, incredibly helpful team, lovely rooms, stylish decor, super-central - what more could you want!

  No elevator. Small showers. Bad AC. Rude staff

  Liked: Location,location, location.

  Disliked: 1. 5+21 stairs - no lift. 2. AC very very very bad - doesn’t cool the room. 3. Showers too small. 4. Staff - very rude. 5. Breakfast is the worst. 6. The reception told us we can check out at 11:00, but at 10:25 the manager banged on the door and yelled at us in a brutal and aggressive manner.

  Liked: Location is great,bed was comfortable,great crisp bed sheets and very nice staff

  Disliked: No sound isolation,everything outside on the street and inside from the hallways can be heard in the room. Walls were dirty

  Very pleasant, I ll love to stay there agagin

  Liked: The staff was very friendly and helpful, the location, was fabulous, could not have had it better. The rooms were nice and the beds comfortable. All round a really rice experience, will definitely want to stay with Astoria in Garda again

  Beautiful, incredible, once in a lifetime

  Liked: Location was absolutely perfect, town is beautiful and short walks to bus station and ferry station

  Disliked: Not accessible for wheelchairs or reduced mobility as there is no lift and stairs have to be taken to get to rooms
