  Beautiful, relaxing, and all we needed!

  Liked: Beautiful, quiet escape, tucked in away in grape vines and olive trees on a hillside overlooking the Lake. Every aspect of the hotel was done with attention to detail and the proprietor Domenico and his staff were nothing short of lovely and attentive. I highly recommend for a weekend or in our case, a stay after a long few days of hiking in the Dolomites!

  The warmth, graciousness and going the extra mile for guests is hard to beat

  Liked: The view of Bardolino and Lake Garda is exceptional; the Inn itself is spacious, non-cluttered and inviting.

  Disliked: Literally nothing.

  Comfortable Stay

  Liked: Prati Palai has lots of character and heritage. The views over Lake Garda are beautiful as are the gardens with vines and olive trees and the pool. We enjoyed their gorgeous rose wine and delicious olive oil. The bed was comfortable and the towels and linens good quality. There was a good selection of local produce for breakfast. The staff were friendly and attentive too.

  Disliked: The location meant that without a car it was a long hilly walk to town which included having to walk along quite a busy road - a bit scary in the dark! They do warn you about this. We had heavy rain on a couple of days and got soaked. A shuttle to town would have been great. We had a kettle in the room but no cups or tea and coffee or water. This would have been nice to have as we had to buy water from the honesty bar. Some robes would have added a nice touch and fridge for the room.
