  30th Wedding Anniversary Treat

  Liked: We enjoyed the remoteness, the views, THE AMAZING SUNSETS, the villa and our room. The room was bright and spacious with stunning views of the bay of Naples. The hot tub an added bonus!! The walk in wardrobe was huge with plenty of hanging and storage space. Our host Guiseppe cooked for us one night spaghetti pomodoro and a carbonara - both were lovely meals. Guiseppe was accommodating in supporting with transport and directions. Providing details of local eateries and also food delivery services I loved he 'whatsapp'd' me daily to ask what we wanted for breakfast!! We had a visitor a few nights, Larry the lizard in the bathroom but he only stayed a short time before moving on!! All in all a fabulous stay for our 30th Wedding Anniversary. We did not venture far as the heat was 'off the scale' but with our own hot tub and access to the pool 24/7 there was no need to go exploring everyday and was quite happy to chill at the villa....oh yes, nearly forgot, the air con was amazing and truly needed. Thank you Villa Nunzia and Guiseppe for a fabulous time in Naples xxx

  ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING….. MASSIVE DISAPPOINTMENT

  Liked: Good communication from host before arrival.

  Disliked: I implore you not to be taken in by the ‘glitzy’ pictures. The reality of being there, in person, was so so different. The leaking air conditioning in both bedrooms that were ‘offered’, dirty kettle, headboard, lamp, fridge, toilet brush, balcony furnishings stained, shower grubby and limescale, floor, algae all around edge of swimming pool. The solution offered was to call back the cleaners. As it was late afternoon, this was not acceptable and pointed out to the host that the room should have been signed off, checked for readiness, long before our arrival. Furthermore, many of our issues could not have been rectified, simply by a returning cleaner. I informed the host of our decision to leave, requesting a full refund, which was immediately refused. He further stated that if the property had been perfect, the fee would have been three times the amount we paid, due to the distant view of mount vesuvius. Although our reason for leaving was due to a lack of cleanliness please, please be aware that local amenities, such as shops and restaurants, ARE NOT WITHIN EASY WALKING DISTANCE, as stated in promotional information. Which interestingly has now been removed from the content we were able to access. Please refer to pictures below.

  Liked: Villa Nunzia was very well situated for our visit to Napoli. Versuvio and Herculaneum are a short car journey away. The property had everything we needed for our 2 night stay, and to top it off, we had use of a hot tub, which was most welcome after a busy days trecking. Giuseppe is a great host and very attentive. He gave us some great advice and information on the local area, supermarkets, and restaurants. The property is nice and quiet with private parking, which is great if you have a hire car. The rooms and grounds are well kept, and you can also enjoy a continental breakfast in the morning. I can recommend this property and its hoast. If you are looking to explore the area it ideally situated.

  Disliked: Wasn't keen in the waffle towels, would prefer normal bath towels
