Good
Liked: The location was great given we were there for the archaeological site and it’s across the street.
Disliked: My room had weird scuffs all over the walls making it look really dirty, the bed frames are also dirty and stained, the bed was uncomfortable and the sheets were scratchy. You can also hear every single thing other guest are doing, at one point I thought someone else was unlocking my door and not theirs. I booked two nights and left after one. The staff however was very nice.
Great location, but that’s where the greatness ends
Liked: No better location. Directly across from the entrance to the archaeological site. Nice view of the archaeological site entrance and a sliver of area view. Adequate breakfast. Friendly staff. Hate to say anything bad about this place because I truly believe they tried their best, but they don’t have much to work with.
Disliked: Really unacceptable in terms of upkeep. I paid extra for a good room with a nice view, which it had, but there’s really nothing much else nice to say. Bathroom smelled of sewage and vinegar (at least they’re trying to keep it clean). Sheets felt like sandpaper. Torn, tattered, and stained bedding. Cheap, old furniture. Honestly just gross. This hotel is desperately in need of proper upkeep and significant remodeling. I would not stay here again, and I do not recommend this hotel. Honestly, it’s better to stay further away from the site and come into town for the archaeological site. We originally booked two nights, but left after the first night, forfeiting the fees of the second night. Sadly, we just couldn’t stay a moment longer.
uncomfortable
Liked: the location was great as per your rating
Disliked: the room had a bath that had no handrail and was very dangerous the floor of the tub was narrow and very slippery getting in and out no safe in the room no power supply next to the computer desk had to plug the computer in to the bath room toilet to charge placing the computer on the sink the beds were poor you would roll over and they would creek the mattress gust acceptable 1 pillow per person 50mm thick 1 pillow was shredded and the only thing holding it together was the pillowcase no spares if required no kettle tee coffee in the room the shower heads sprayed in every direction all hotels seem to think 1fold up case stool is ok, but 2 people check in with surprise surprise 2 cases this is a winge about all hotels they are no different anywhere in the world and i have done extensive traveling
Ok for one night right opposite the ruins, breakfast was good and plentiful
Liked: Location to Ruins Good continental breakfast Restaurants and bars next door
Disliked: Rooms do not match pictures Bed base was stained No kettle in room
Excellent location, breakfast, good location!
Liked: Excellent location and good value either way an excellent., very good breakfast.
Disliked: Some staff were excellent, very professional, friendly and helpful (Matteo and a few others); other staff were sullen and made me feel like they were angry about having to do their job.
