Exceptional
Best location if you’re not looking for new or upgraded hotel
Liked: The location “trumped” the negatives. The staff was wonderful!
Disliked: This place is in dire need of upgrades, i.e. the bathroom porcelain sink had a huge crack that had an attempted repair with some kind of calming, the shower had two missing tiles that were never replaced, the outside public areas needed a “facelift” with new artificial grass as well as potted plants having better care/pruning. But like I said, the hotel location was 100% perfect for getting around
Liked: Convrnient for the port and lovely terraces for stunning views and sunbathing. Thermal pools. Very amenable with storing luggage etc.
Disliked: Didn't like the breakfast area / reception/ bar - it was a strange set up and bar staff not that cheerful in an evening. The breakfast although extensive - basics like the bread were hard and the scrambled eggs cold - other egg options were an extra charge. The hard pillows and plastic coverings over the furnishings.
Relaxing and enjoyable
Liked: Great location, decor matches the island vibe. Lovely buffet breakfast, friendly helpful staff.
Disliked: Room facing Harbour a bit noisy.
Perfect location on this chilled out Island
Liked: So close to the ferry port - restaurants nearby and close to main town
Disliked: Room is a little clinical
I would not recommend
Liked: Location.
Disliked: The security bolt on door was missing knob and could not be used. The shutters on door to balcony (the only way to darken room) were missing latch and would not stay closed. The sink was missing stopper. The lobby restaurant was so loud as to be ear splitting and uncomfortable and the staff ignored me when I went for breakfast so I left unfed. The front desk did have a waitress bring a coffee to my room. I left after one night and found another property. This property is in desperate need of basic maintenance.

Liked: Perfect location very close to the port, bus station, restaurants and shops.
Disliked: The shower stall was not very large.
