Excellent value for money
Liked: The hermitage is a small hotel, rusty around the edges with character. The hotel was clean and in a really nice location and is excellent value for money. I am a retired solo traveller. I had a balcony room and the hotel suited my needs perfectly

Excellent would like to return
Liked: Very clean room, lovely view I could see the castle from my room as well as the lemon grove and sea. Breakfast was extensive and tasty. I had 2 evening meals at the restaurant which were delicious and reasonably priced.The staff were very friendly and professional.
Disliked: I can't think of anythI didn't like.

Grand Budapest Hotel meets The White Lotus
Liked: The interiors were gorgeous. Everywhere you looked was instagrammable. Both pools were nice for different reasons. No shortage of lounges and the poolside service was wonderful. The mandatory swimming caps took a moment to get used to but everything about the space spoke to hygiene and wellness so it made sense. One definitely can't take themselves too seriously in a swimming cap so it helped break the ice.
Disliked: I didn't like leaving. It was one of the reasons Ischia took highest ranking in Italian holiday highlights.
