Liked: This was our forth time staying at Rivamare. We like the location, cleanliness, and the friendly front desk staff.
Disliked: This was the first time that we were placed in a basement room. The internet service was terrible, and since it was cloudy & rainy during our stay, we were in the room more than normal and were trying to use the internet more than we usually do in Ischia.
Highly recommend this property. Fairly easy to walk there from ferry port and centrally located
Liked: We loved the view of the beach from the breakfast area. Breakfast was great. The staff was very nice, allowing us to store our luggage for hours after checkout.

Disliked: The AC unit was barely operational in the room, the wifi isn’t great, the extractor in the toilet does t work, the fridge barely functions, generally a brilliant place just needs maintenance and upgrades.
Great location and stay
Liked: Excellent location, right on the beach, 2 mins to all the shops and restaurants, 10 min walk from the ferry. Friendly helpful staff. Arranged for us to hire mopeds to tour the islands, much cheaper than booking anywhere direct! Does not have its own beach access, you have to hire loungers on a private section, which they give you a discount for.
Disliked: Breakfast - was slow, you had to queue up to be served everything, you could not help yourself to anything, long wait time for a coffee as staff serve your whole breakfast in one go ie you queue up, order your drinks, food (cold only), point to what you want, which is right in front of you, so you could just take a croissant, but you're not allowed to touch anything. So it made waiting for an extra drink frustrating if you were mid breakfast and wanted another drink! Food was good though.
