Exceptional
Enjoyed every minute at our stay in Villa Maria and would definitely go back
Liked: Location was first class and what a view!! Enjoyed breakfast on the terrace and had dinner a the hotels couple of times and was excellent. Steep walk to the hotel but it’s a short one and worth it. Sant Angelo was the most beautiful place we have discovered so far on the island. A great recommendation from friends.
Disliked: Absolutely nothing. Beaches are ok though I don’t think Italy has the same type of beaches as Spain or France.
Liked: Stayed here with friend and loved it! Staff were all part of the same family and were so welcoming. Breakfast was perfect with lots of options, AC was great, the dinner (if you choose to do it) was all home cooked and delicious so highly recommend. It’s a slight hike to get here if you have a checked bag but there are carts located right below that can drive you up if needed. The beach was are had a bar and great food options so it’s easy to walk to the beach once and stay there for the rest of the day. Also located close to town which makes it super easy to explore.

Beautiful hotel, beautiful food, beautiful location
Liked: Beautiful hotel, in a beautiful setting in Sant Angelo. The family who run the hotel made us feel so welcome from the minute we arrived until the minute we left and would do anything to make your stay more comfortable. The beach bar is within walking distance and is a great place to relax. The food at hotel & beach bar was exceptional! Home cooked authentic Italian cuisine.
Disliked: There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the hotel.
Liked: Amazing views, delicious food and friendly staff. <3 We will definitely be back x
Disliked: The walk up to the hotel can be a bit tiring (the views make it worth it) and the wifi is a little slow.
Amazing stay in Sant'Angelo
Liked: - Amazing location with panoramic view from an upper hill (really worth the effort to walk up and enjoy impressing Sant'Angelo) - Familiar and very friendly staff, available anytime for help - Excellent breakfast and dinner on awesome terrace - Relaxing and cosy environment - Easy access to the beach
