Fabulous
Improve a few things and it would be great
Liked: Quite a good location, spacious, clean
Disliked: Terrible dangerous shower, had a kettle and coffee maker neither of them worked
Liked: Location to rail station & restaurants. Clean, tidy & comfortable.
Disliked: Shower went from hot to slightly warm after about 40 seconds which impressed us no end. This was also mentioned in a previous review but obviously not actioned unfortunately.
Amazing place! Centrally located!
Liked: The staff was wonderful with communication and the room was great! Just what we wanted for our stay.
Disliked: We all have bad backs so the beds were a little uncomfortable for us, but overall great!

VERY DIFFERENT: May or may not be your style
Liked: Very close to the station which makes it perfect for those transmitting to Cinque Terre. Because of weather - they apparently use an open patio - we got a bag breakfast of croissant and sweet. Combined with the snacking welcome basket it was quite fine. Small frig and coffee maker made the room useful.
Disliked: The low score for staff is because I didn't see ANY! Unlike a hotel or B&B it's part of a group of small clusters of room units (at least 2) in various buildings. Each room is independent. All communication is electronic. We found procedures very confusing but we are old. There is an assigned 'personal assistant' who you message with and can - in an emergency - call. Ours - Delia - seemed extremely nice (!) but the system of no face to face contact combined with all electronic contact was not our style at all. I did not like the e-interface for extras and paying room tax. It wouldn't work unless you gave it full permission to sell your info for marketing purposes to all comers. We were allowed to pay cash instead and that was good.
Liked: The location and service were great.
Disliked: The wifi was intermittent or non existent.
