  Location location location

  Liked: Location is very convenient. Its right at the La Spezia Centrale train station. The room was very quiet. Doesn't even hear the train running at night. 2 cafe choices for breakfast. Ces'bon was better. It gave us more coffee and croissant choices and a free OJ. The staff was very helpful in giving us info regarding the town and cinque Terre

  Disliked: No elevators, 3 flights of stairs.. not handicapped friendly. Thank goodness we travel with carry on only. The staff offered to bring our luggages up and down the stairs. Although room was vlean and comfortable, it is small. We were there to only sleep anyways.

  An excellent 2-night stay in La Spezia at Affittacamere Casa Dane'

  Liked: We stayed at Affittacamere Casa Dane' for 2 nights, September 18 through September 20, 2026. The location was very easy to find and the proprietors were very helpful and friendly. The location was perfect for exploring La Spezia. The parking was included in the room rental. Our rental car was a bit larger than some and one of the ladies was on the phone with us to make sure we found the specific enclosed parking place. She gave us a code to get the car in and out. The room was up a flight of steps, And the same lady that met us helped carry our bags. The room was neat and clean and had a small refrigerator and a hot pot for instant coffee. The bed slept great. Everything was as it should be. And we were very glad to find out that La Spezia was mostly flat. We enjoyed lunch at Locanda Mercato Ristorante Pizzeria. There was a market near the restaurant and the harbor was across the street. After lunch we wandered around the market. Made for a very delightful Saturday in La Spezia.

  Disliked: I can't think of anything about our room in La Spezia that caused us any concerns. We did have a curtain that needed to be tightened up, and they took care of that while we were out seeing the sites.

  Pleasant stay

  Liked: It’s spacious and central and clean.

  Disliked: We can hear the trains from our room, but fortunately we are ok with noise, so not a deal breaker.

  Liked: The cleanest bathroom, good facilities and the breakfast was in a near cafeteria. Personal was very kind. Location was excellent near to the station.

  Disliked: Has stair in the entrance, almost to floor. If you have too much luggage is maybe a problem.

  disappointment

  Liked: nothing. we did not end up staying here. we called 15 min before arrival as asked. we went to the address, we were parked on a street. told to empty luggage which we did. between multiple phone calls and calling via intercom, we were told that wasnt the actual location of the room. we were sent a picture of where to go., in a city where we know nothing. then we were told someone would come down to the sidewalk to help us, no one did. then we were told, they have to help other people. moving the car so traffic could go by, waiting on the sidewalk with luggage. after close to an hour we gave up. ended up at the hotel across the street. asked for $$ back and idk if that has happened yet. if we tried to stay longer, by the time we got luggage and car set, we would have wasted another hour and missed out on cinque terre. deceptive- no idea where the rooms actually were.
