Very good
Liked: The house is well situated (with regards to the ferry, Lipari town centre, the bus to other villages on the island, etc.) and has terraces and the front and back. It was clean and well-equipped. The owner was really friendly when giving and collecting the keys, and made enquiries for us when we wanted to do a short boat tour (shorter than usual). There is a tiny 'play room' which was very nice for our small children.
Disliked: At the back of the house there is a constant humming sound - perhaps from machines at the small factory (?) about 100 meters away. For this reason we preferred the front terrace. There isn't a real living room or a sizeable dining table in the house; not a real problem, given that we were mostly staying and eating outside, but in any case there is no obvious place to sit inside. The mattress is quite hard.

Liked: The location was ok and the air-conditioning worked well.
Disliked: The hot water service at times didn't work and there was no inside living area. It was often too hot to sit outside.

Liked: 10mins walk to the high street, where all the restaurants and supermarkets are. Property is spacious with a lovely garden at the back and seating area at the front of the house
