Ok for the occasion
Liked: Elegant room and bathroom Very Central location Comfy bed Helpful host - allowed me to store luggage longer and was helpful over the phone

Best suited for people who don't mind stairs and self checkin, but location & rooms were amazing
Liked: The location couldn't have been better - so central and with a gorgeous cafe/pasticceria on the same street 2 minutes away. The rooms were big, the beds were comfortable and everything was really clean. There was a minor issue our first night but it was quickly resolved and I was able to get staff on the phone and the whole thing sorted within 30 minutes which was great.
Disliked: We didn't realise until we arrived that there was no lift - that's on us, we should have read the reviews more closely! Lots of stairs and they are quite steep, so wouldn't recommend this for anyone who would struggle to carry up their own suitcase. It's self check in, so would also need to be somewhat tech savvy to do that - wouldn't recommend for anyone who wants to be checked in by a person/get help with bags etc.
Great Location, Large and Comfortable room
Liked: The location was fabulous - and everything is very walkable from where the hotel is based. The room was large and very comfy. There was a fridge and freezer in the room which was very helpful.
Disliked: The self check in as it was something I hadn't seen before but once done, no issues.
80 steep steps to climbe at overprised cost
Liked: Location is great, bed and bath room are ok.
Disliked: What was not clearly mentioned is that you have to climb some 80 steep steps (last floor). This with the luggage was quite if challenge. And than you enter the room in wich the temperature was 32 degrees, as the aircon wasn’t switched on. The air-condition itself could not overcome the heat - one hand outside was very hot, but I believe It is also too weak for this room. So, 2 days later the temperature inside dropped dramatically to 27 degrees. In addition this property did not provide a company invoice. They didn’t even answer to all my requests - I believe 3-4 times I asked. And all this for a cost, which is not small at all. So, all in all I would not recommend it.

Liked: The location
Disliked: No staff but a computer terminal doing the reception - where’s the friendly service people were writing about previously???? No messages received prior to arrival just three dots. So we had to call to get a pin to get in. The toilet seat was broken. Another call with someone lying he didn’t know about it (cleaning stuff knows the truth). 2nd lie “he would take care of it”. It was a Monday afternoon. It’s possible to find a new toilet seat on a Monday while he’s not busy doing the reception anyway…. 90€ for a bedroom without toilet seat - you decide on “value for the money”…. Also you book “city view” and end up with the “rear window”. Guests with no booking cancellations end up in #2 where the toilet seat is broken.
Not authentic, good location
Liked: Location is great
Disliked: It is not an old "locanda" but a new project were everything (paintings included) is fake-old. The total absence of a human concierge also means that it is not a hotel, or albero or locanda but one if those new self check in and rather anonymous looking accomodations that come from carved-out palazzos
