Exceptional
Liked: Beautiful apartment right outside the walls. Very tastefully decorated and more than comfortable. It had every amenity we could have possibly needed. Our host was helpful and responsive. Couldn’t have asked for more.
Amazing stay in a great location!
Liked: Beautiful and clean apartment in a great location close to the city walls and train station. We loved our stay here and would happily stay here again if we ever came back to Lucca.
Disliked: My only very small complaint is that the pillows were a bit lumpy but that wasn’t a big deal just a very minor thing.
Liked: The place was great but had no elevator. Very close to the train station but no convenience stores around. Very close to the wonderful old city of Lucca.
Highly recommend this property for a trip to Lucca or as a base to further explore Tuscany
Liked: A beautiful property with a two minute walk to the old town entrance. Two minute walk to the train station. The property was spotless and the host very helpful.
Beautiful apartment in a beautiful city
Liked: The apartment was beautiful and had everything we needed for our stay. The location was ideally located just outside the city walls and also near the train station.

Spacious apartment with easy paid parking and short walk to Porto San Pietro entrance to Lucca
Liked: Very spacious apartment and very close to Porta San Pietro / the walled entrance to Lucca. Even though it was paid parking, the parking lot was very close (though across a busy street) to the apartment. Lovely that the host provided snacks and a bottle of Prosecco, as well as water, for us.
Disliked: There were two flights of stairs to the apartment and no lift - I do not remember seeing that in the description, and traveling with an aunt who had recently had knee surgery made this a little more challenging to navigate. The coffee pod machine was very basic and did not make good coffee. Also, only 2 pods were provided for two people for two nights. There wasn't much of a view from the apartment - just looking at the wall of Lucca. So I would not call this a romantic spot. But it was a functional, easy-access spot. The manual for how to run the house was tucked away, and I didn't know where to find it, so I had to ask the host. I also had to ask the host about the controls for the AC, as all but one of the controls had run out of charge.
