Corte dei folletti
Liked: Location comoda e vicina al centro. Camere belle e particolari, staff cortese e disponibile.
Liked: It was close to a large shopping center and only a 20min walk to the old town walls. Easy access to the surrounding towns like Pisa, yet not so busy that you have to drive through relentless traffic everywhere you go.
Disliked: The shower had a simple curtain around it that still left a lot of water spread out onto the bathroom floor. The air-conditioner was also too small for the main room and the secondary room which got quite warm.
Good characterful hotel and very helpful staff
Liked: Simona was very helpful given my flight was late and therefore I was arriving later than expected. The room was really nice and the bed was pretty comfortable. Bathroom was large with a good shower and very clean. Breakfast was fresh with a good selection to choose from. It is a 30mins walk into Lucca centre which was fine, even though it was quite hot at time.
Disliked: The air conditioning was only just keeping the room cool, maybe because it was quite warm at the time. It is on a road, so parking wasn't always easiest, although there were roadworks that effectively reduced parking by half, so once completed it would be easier for sure.
It was a decent stay. It had what we needed
Liked: This is a funky B&B. Very artistic and unique. We had two rooms with a couch bed (full sized) and a queen bed in a separate room. Bathroom, too. We enjoyed the room. AC worked well. The staff were kind. The location was on a pretty busy road about 4 minutes from the old city. Easy drive to the old city.
