Liked: The apartment was located very close to the eastern gate of Lucca’s historic center and also conveniently near the train station. It was clean and comfortable, with a spacious bathroom. The host prepared a very good breakfast and was extremely helpful, giving us excellent recommendations for places to visit in the area as well as good restaurants nearby.

Great stay and value
Liked: Good location outside of the walled city. Just a 10-15min walk and parking was free about 100m away around the corner. We parked at the church nearby to drop our bags off first before finding out where the parking was. Lidl is a 5-8min walk away on the way to the walled city. Very clean and comfortable. Our room was on the second floor. We could leave our bags after check out. Breakfast was additional at €5 per person though I don’t think there is an obligation to have this if you clarify in advance. Owner was very helpful and recommended a few good restaurants just within the walled city which were good and convenient. Book ahead. It was quiet when we stayed but suggest to bring earplugs just in case. Would recommend as good value for money.
