Fabulous
Disliked: The outside bar is too loud for anyone to sleep
Great location and spacious in
Liked: The apartment is located just a few minutes walk from the railway station and also from Lucca town wall. The accommodation is very spacious with a lovely terrace (but we didn't get much use out of it). There was a reception area with tourist information and with hot and cold drinks which you could take and pay for...very trusting of owner! which was nice.
Disliked: No kettle. A washing machine would have been good.
Disappointed by lack of sleep
Liked: The location was great for the train station and the Mura di Lucca parkrun. The room was big and the bed very comfortable. Great shower and plenty of towels
Disliked: I was woken the first night by the sound of fireworks and a very noisy crowd from the bar beside me. The 2nd night the noise and shouting went on til 3am, not great when I had to catch an early train! Dozens of people were out on the street making an awful noise. I know there were earplugs left but id prefer to have been warned as it ruined my stay.Maybe it would be quieter during the week. Also I couldn't close the blind and there was a neon sign outside my window!
