Exceptional
Liked: The room was very comfortable, and the hosts were very warm and attentive! They gave detailed instructions on how to get to the property, along with recommendations for things to do in Lucca. They do a lovely breakfast spread, but we decided to skip it to try out some local delicacies. They were super nice and let us store our luggage with them after check-out.
Disliked: I wish they specified that they did not have an elevator, carrying suitcases up the stairs without a heads-up was a little upsetting (only because I was travelling with two 60+ adults)
The perfect breakaway
Liked: The perfect accommodation for exploring the delights of Lucca. The hosts are extremely pleasant and helpful from start to finish. Breakfast is a treat. So many wonderful homemade delicacies. Location is just a stone throw from the main shipping area and restaurants.
Disliked: No negatives.
Liked: Lukas was an extremely helpful host, giving lots of information. The location was amazing in Central Lucca, but very quiet The breakfast was excellent and it was possible to leave your bags after checkout
Disliked: Quirky decor, but utterly wasn't a problem
Liked: Wonderful staff, incredibly welcoming. Great breakfast. Walking distance to train station. Also less than 5 minutes walk to the bus that goes to train station. It was so great we stayed an extra night which they accommodated easily. Quick to respond to any messages. The photos don't do it justice. Would highly recommend.
Lucca is a lovely city and this was an excellent place to stay in and to explore it from
Liked: The location was excellent and the room was large and well furnished, with a good continental breakfast buffet.
Disliked: We were encouraged not to open the balcony doors to keep mosquitoes out which was good advice but negated having a room with a balcony!
