A lovely hotel in a beautiful City
Liked: The staff at this hotel were amazing. Very friendly and helpful - gave a lot of local tips and advice regarding staying in Lucca. The beds were very comfortable and housekeeping was provided every morning. The air con worked well, as did the hotel wifi. The breakfast was more than adequate -a typical Italian style breakfast and the owner kindly made eggs for my husband as well. The hotel is located about 10 minutes stroll from the main entrance to the old town - which is beautiful. It is about a 30 minute walk to the train station.
Disliked: This is not really a criticism as we loved the hotel but it would have been nice to have been able to order snacks during the day and in the early evening.
Great location, friendly and helpful staff
Liked: The hotel accommodated for our late arrival outside regular check-in hours. Staff were friendly and helpful. The city centre is just a short walk away.
Disliked: I was charged twice for the room but hotel refused to acknowledge their mistake! Also we had no hot water for our morning showers
