Fabulous
All in all, I would stay again but request a room with carpet
Liked: Charming villa, close to Lucca centro. Excellent staff.
Disliked: The room we stayed in was a bit tired, carpet flooring that was a bit worn and stained. Grounds, gardens and pool area could use some maintenance. Lovely place though.

Liked: The old Villa, it’s decore and gardens stunning, great pool, food delicious, they had a great chef who was superb, lovely staff our stay exceeded expectations

A unique historic stay with breakfast and onsite parking
Liked: A unique stay full of character! A lovely setting in the hills with a pool to ease the hot days and a generous spread for breakfast. Easy parking on site and well located if you are planning to visit Lucca and Pisa - only short drives away.
Disliked: The facilities were a bit tired, still functional but are opportunities for improvement.

Liked: Brilliant ambiance and accommodation
Disliked: A little older crowd and distant from town (obviously based on the map, not a criticsm)
Liked: It's super quite at the hotel, amazing historicsl building with great interior. It was spotlessly clean in the room and the bathroom. The restaurant took care of my request to provide cool wine and dinner as we arrived late at the evening. The breakfast also was very good. Close to Lucca and Pisa airport.
