  A pleasant one-night stay to start Via Francigena in the historic center of Lucca + morning coffee

  Liked: Helpful host made check-in easy and explained everything. Located in the historical center and suited us (we did not have car) very well. Coffee machine in the kitchen helped to start our day.

  Disliked: You have to climb a steep staircase. This didn't bother us at all, but visitors with limited mobility or a lot of luggage should take this into account before booking.

  A wonderful, clean and safe place in old town Lucca. Perfect location to get the vibe of the city

  Liked: Great rooms with private bath and shared kitchen in old town Lucca. Communication with Manuel was efficient and he was there to meet us when we arrived to show us around. The whole place was clean and we felt safe. It was wonderful to have an espresso/cappuccino for the morning as well. As others have mentioned, there are stairs and the last set is quite steep. Not a problem for us but may be if you have mobility issues.

  Great base in centre of Lucca

  Liked: Great location in centre of Lucca. Very friendly and helpful host.

  Disliked: Extremely steep stairs to access the property, with no lift. It was ok for us, but guests with reduced mobility would struggle.

  Perfect for a great stay in Lucca

  Liked: Manuel was super welcoming, kind and helpful. The room was great, clean, modern. I loved the spaceful shower. The bed was super comfortable. The location is super centrally and perfect for a stay in Lucca. If I come back I would love to again stay at Manuel’s place.
