Exceptional
A brilliant experience of Lucca, somewhat impaired by the challenging entrance to the flat
Liked: The location, just inside the medieval wall and close to the train station, was excellent. The rooftop terrace was outstanding. It was well appointed with a dining table and chairs, a shaded seating area and two sun loungers. I liked the open plan kitchen, dining and living room.
Disliked: 1. The accessibility was challenging. It was a fourth floor flat, accessed by 65 stairs, the last 29 of which were very steep, not suitable for a guest with mobility issues. 2. There was no wi-fi. 3. The bedroom was one floor below the bathroom, separated by a steep stair. This was not ideal.
A fabulous place to stay in Lucca
Liked: This is one of the best places we've ever stayed at. We've been to Lucca 4 times and would book this again in an instant. The most relaxing terrace which was ideal for chilling out and watching the sky change colours in the evening and perfect after lots of walking and exploring. Has everything you need for cooking etc and so close to a cafe/train station etc. Marco was an excellent and friendly host

Liked: Very nice apartment, well furnished. Fantastic terrace with beautiful views! Peaceful location. Close to the station and centre of the old town.
Disliked: A lot of steps to climb but manageable if you are fit.

Liked: The apartment was fabulous. The terrace especially, which was gorgeous. Quiet at night so could get a good nights sleep.
Very relaxing stay in Lucca with fantastic sun terrace for lazy afternoons
Liked: The Terrace is definitely the star of the show great for sunny days or relaxing with a bottle of wine. Great cake shop just around the corner for your morning coffee. Marco is a friendly host, the property has most things you need and is comfy and quiet - right by the city wall so easy to get around Lucca - also good value for Lucca we thought.
Disliked: Its a bit of a climb to get to the top floor so will keep you fit otherwise all good!!
Superb apartment in a great location with a lovely terrace with views of the walls and towers
Liked: Excellent host, good speedy communication, met us at the property to show us the facilities. Great location within the historic centre, sites are just a few minutes walk away as are restaurants and shops. The terrace is lovely with great view over the walls and over to the towers. The apartment has all that you need for a stay here - I would recommend.
Disliked: As stated on the property information it is up 5 flights of stairs so be aware if you have heavy luggage - worth it in our view for the lovely terrace,
